Fiber Optic Cable World's Fastest

The National Institute of Technology and Information Communication (NICT) and KDDI Laboratories have developed a new fiber optic cable at the moment is the most advanced in the world for speed of data transfer it has.
This new type of cable will be capable of delivering 10 times the current speed which is 3TB per second. Incredibly, the transfer speed you can achieve is 30 TB per second, or in other words, you can download 720 DVD's in one second!

Google announces launch of Chrome OS

The Internet services giant Google announced the launch of its first operating system, which has been dubbed Google Chrome OS and that will come to light in 2010. Although the Operating System will target netbooks because they are based on the Linux kernel may be installed in both PC and MAC, and as such, is an open source operating system.
