Software estimated age of people by analyzing pictures of his face

This is a software developed by engeneers of  University of Illinois in the United States, this software can calculate the age of a person with a fairly accurate, all you need is a photograph of the face to estimate age.
According to its creators, the system is not yet what they want precise, but believes that it will be relatively easy to improve.
Among the possible applications of this system are: preventing young people below a certain age to buy alcohol, to deny children access to certain Web pages or to prevent minors from acquiring snuff vending machines.
The system can estimate aged 1 year and 93 years. During the tests, 50% of the time the wise old with a deviation of 5 years, while 80% of the time that deviation was 10 years. According to its creators, the indices of precision can go up by evidence in databases with larger quantities of photographs of people.
